In 1967 Car Stereo was in its infancy. Back then the sound system for most cars was an AM in dash radio and in some luxury cars in AM/FM mono upgrade. The new “craze” was the 8 track tape player which offered pre-recorded stereo for the first time in your car! It was in that year we opened our still existing store on Route 35 in Neptune, then known as “The Tape Worm”. In 1977 car stereo took a turn toward high fidelity and we changed our name to Auto Audio. We always maintained the highest quality installation available and we truly take pride in our work. Whether you’re driving a ’78 Pinto or a new BMW you can be assured we will take the time and the effort to give you the best job possible for:
